Hi somebody gave me a Gen 6 DATA ver.10.1 Navigation from a 2011 Avalon. If I install it in my 2010 Camry XLE will it wreck the nav system and can I save the original DVD that came with the Camry and re install it if the Avalon DVD fails to work Thanks

Nothing will happen. It will not damage your unit. All it will do is not be able to read it. Its like putting a DVD into a CD player. Nothing happens.

I suggest inserting DVD and disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. Reconnect battery and turn on car. This will reboot and refresh NAV. This applies to new and original DVD
