Well, It just came in the mail. It took about a week for the item to come via UPS standard shipping. Unit is pretty small, about the size of an Altoids can (

It comes with three inputs where you attach three of the wires which go into the Nav HU. It reroutes the cables into it's system, then has 3 output cables which go back into the Nav HU. Once that's complete you connect the switch that comes with the unlock. It's about an inch long, and about 3-4CM high. It has two buttons, one called TV, and one callled NAVI. You can place this button just about anywhere, as the cable is nearly 6 feet long. I put it next to my AUX/USB input (Drilled a hole in that container, and threaded the wire through.) Once the switch is in place attach the other end to the unlock unit. Assemble the center console and turn the car on.
Toyota comes up as usual, then for the first power on a Initialization screen pops up. After that the normal "Do not use while driving" screen comes up. Start driving and as usual you'll be locked out of entering data after 5MPH. Press the NAVI button, and a second later the address icon lights back up and you're able to enter information. Once you enter the address or look for POI's you press the NAVI button again and it'll calculate the time and directions. Away you go.
Install (from taking apart Center console, to putting it back together) took around 25-30 minutes. It was the first time for me to ever do this type of work on a car (opening up the center console). I didn't use any special tools. All you need is a size 10 hex bit, a Phillips and flat screw driver, and some common sense (had to find that somewhere though). After seeing how easy it was, I'm much more confident on installing an after market HU on my other 2011 Camry.
The instructions which come with it are very clear, and if you get lost following them would help. The only con to this review is the price. 305 shipped to my door. Quite steep. The install, if done at a "qualified installer" would be an additional 150.
