Brake squeal

Im having some issues with the brakes on my Camry squealing when I dont have my foot on the brakes. Its an intermittent issue and it doesnt start making the noise until Ive been driving for 15 minutes usually and mostly does it at speeds above 45 mph.
If I gently put my foot on the brake the noise stops and as soon as I take my foot off the brake it starts again.
Also, if I drive for more than 30 minutes without using the brakes the noise gradually gets quieter and then goes away.
Last winter I had the passenger side rear inner brake pad get worn down to the metal. I think the caliper slides had stuck, because they were hard to push in and didnt spring back. I put some grease on them and didnt have any noise for about 9 months and just recently the noise came back.
Now, I didnt use actual calper grease, I just used lithium grease and Ive read recently that you need to use caliper grease because over time lithium grease will dry up.
Ive checked all of the brake pads and none of them is down to the metal or even worn down to a point where the scratchers would touch the brake rotor and cause a noise. Infact, about a month ago I replaced the front pads and the noise was still there.
Now, heres my question: do you guys think that sticking caliper pins on the rear caliper would cause this noise and that I simply need to grease the pins?

it's certainly a possibility, and re-greasing the pins with the proper grease takes no time at all and little effort. I would try to clean as much of the lithium grease out of the pin bores and off the pins, and re-grease the pins with proper caliper grease.

Yeah, I was thinking I could take a bunch of the longer q-tips and clean the lithium grease out of it.
Honestly, if this doesnt work I will probably just take it in and have it looked at because Im out of ideas of what the noise would be.
If I can grease the pins and fix the noise at a minimal expense Id much rathar do that than to spend $300-$500 to hasve a hop look at it.

Permatex makes several good caliper greases. I have also used "Syl-Glide from NAPA for the slide pins and it seems to last. The Permatex products can also be used on the shims to prevent them from squeaking. Use brake cleaner on Q tips to get all the old grease out of the pin bores. Don't get the cleaner on any of the dust boots or on the lower slide pin "bushing" which is rubber also. I also use the grease on the portion of the pads that contact the pad supports. Use the grease sparingly. Regards.

Thanks, Don. I drove my car in the rain today and the brakes didnt hardly squeak at all, so Im thinking it has to be a sticky side pin problem. The only time it squeaked a bit is shortly before I got home, after it had stopped raining.
