Strange constant rotational squealing from rear when very cold goes silent when warm
Hope someone can help me diagnose:
(2003 Camry SE 180,000 kms.)
The squealing is loud, apparently rotational and constant. It occurs when car and weather is freezing cold at start up (sound is still there but quieter when not so cold).
Braking does not affect sound at all (kind of a constant "weeweeweeweewee" nasty loud high pitched squeal coming from rearward).
If I make a sweeping turn to the left while underway the sound goes away but returns as soon as i straighten up or turn right. After driving for 10-20 minutes it tends to go away completely.
Have done much post reading but it doesn't quite sound like it is the oft mentioned stabilizer bar bushes.
Always thought a bad wheel bearing made more of a dull roaring noise rather than high pitched squealing/rubbing noise?.
Also, I have heard noisy brakes too before but this almost sounds too shreiking/loud?
Can't quite remember if the 'weeweeweewee" speeds up, slows down with actual mph but I seem to think not, but may be wrong.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thankie, BonnieGirl
