Camry 2008 -- Knocking sound from frame when going up ramps at an angle

Hi everyone

I just needed some thoughts what could be the issue with my Camry. Basically when I drive up a ramp with a decent amount of incline and going at an angle, I hear a knocking sound from what seems to be the frame of the car somewhere and I can tell because the interior upholstery makes a sound as if it were shifting. In other words, the sound I heard from the upholstery is the same sound you would hear if you were trying to separate two objects glued together.

The obvious answer is to take it to the dealer, but I was wondering if it is really a frame issue, and if so it seems so soon that there is this issue to begin with. I have always taken my car to the dealer for all my maintenance. Could this issue just be a screw loose or something not tightened? Does the Toyota warranty even cover something like this?

Thanks

ur right, take it to the dealer or other competent tech. Any number of things can cause the noise you describe (or not), from the muffler bearings to the drive train bells and whistles. I 'spect that by the time this thread finishes, just about every component on the car can be identified as the possible culprit. lol

Can you replicate the sound pushing on the fender or floor jacking the car?
