Use heat gun (or hair dryer) to carefully heat the vinyl lettering - peel off the letters. WD-40 or similar will remove the glue residue, then wax area. Caveat - if the car is a few years old, it's possible that the paint covered by the decal will "show" due to slight fading of the surrounding paint.
I'm in the same boat, just bought this new to me '07 Camry and it appears that they put on a new bumper sticker. I had this same sticker on my '06 Tacoma when I purchased it from the same dealer, fortunately it was on the chrome, it was really tough to get off picking at it with a fingernail and WD40.

El Loco, I'm with you, the problem is that mine was a used purchase and it had a sticker even before I saw the car. My line has always been, sell me a good car, give me good service, I'll be all the advertising that you need. I'm that way with just about everything, and it does work both ways, screw me and the word is out!
I never minded the plastic license ring and I still have my original on my truck from 2006.

So yes, I would love to get rid of this god awful taint off my car lol. Some type of liquid remover? The letters are etched on there pretty good.
Heat it up with a hair dryer and peel it off. Just a sticker. Use some 3M adhesive remover (everybody should own a can) to remove the leftover glue. Then, wax the area where the sticker was.
Usually they come off easier than you think. I'd bet it's off and cleaned up in fifteen minutes. Just heat up the area good and warm... don't get it nuclear hot so you don't damage the paint.

Lol got it.
Because it's pretty tough. Feels like dried up plaster.
