How To.... Oil and Tire?

I know how to change oil...... How do you reset the Maint Required light on the dash nad how do you reset the tire pressure light also? It's on an '08. Also What brand of oil is recommended? I mostly use Casterol on my other vehicles but this is the wifes baby and I want a good oil to go in it.

Thanks,
Nate

Seriously though, most of this information is in your owners manual and will be more accurate (mostly) than what the other members will tell you here. Oil is oil, if you've been using Castrol on your other vehicles with good results, then I see no reason not to use it on the 08.

To reset the Tire Light:

1. Fill all 4 tires up the the recommended tire pressure (I use 32PSI)
2. Once all tires are filled up the light should go out on its own.
3. If it does not go out after 5 minutes verify the following 2 conditions.
3a. Light is on steady.
3b. Light blinks and then comes on steady.
4. If 3a. Open your glove box compartment. To the very left inside a small opening is the tire pressure reset switch. Press and hold the switch. The tire pressure warning light should flash 3 times and then go out within 5 minutes.
5. If 3b. or step 4 did not correct your problem take the vehicle to the dealer. You have either a bad sensor, ecu, antenna, harness, or cluster.

To reset the MAINT. REQD light.
1. Change the engine oil and perform any other routine maintenance.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position or on smart key vehicles press the START button twice with your foot off the brake pedal.
3. Press the TRIP/RESET button until the display reads TRIP A.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position or or smart key vehicles press the START button once.
5. Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button and while holding the button simultaneously turn the ignition switch to the ON position and on smart key vehicles press the START button twice with the foot off the brake pedal.
6. The Display should read 5 dashes which should go out one by one until you see 5 Zeros (00000).
7. When you see the 5 Zeros there light is reset. Turn the vehicle off and on to verify the light comes on for a second and then goes out.

As for oil. I use Mobil 1 0W20 and a Purolator Pureone oil filter in my Camry. No issues.
