Hey guys,

My parents have one of the ebay GPS's, and I'm trying to wire the reverse trigger wire coming from the back of the HU, but it is only about 4" long and isn't long enough to go to the reverse lights, or any where near the kick panel. Is there some kind of special wiring you guys used to extend this? The unit didn't come with any.

Take the GPS unit and the reverse camera to Radio Shack or any other electronic store and they will provide you with the right extension cable, which is pretty cheap. ( chance is are you need a 15ft RCA cable). Has regards the power wire to the reverse lights - any insulated wire will do.
