Gen6 Slight humming noise coming from steering column

Hello all, I have a 2007 Camry, had it since 06 and just recently I am starting to hear a humming noise when I turn my steering wheel to the left or right. Just wondering if anyone with a Camry the same year or close to mine has experienced this before. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Okay thanks so there was a TSB out for this problem?? My warranty expired, I wonder would this still be covered by it being a TSB?

doubt they will cover it under warranty. just get the kit and do it. Don't have to take it off as the instructions say. Another trick - thick grease at the boot ring will quiet it down some. Don't use silicone spray. it dilutes the grease long term making it worse over time.
