Blkcam how do you like your 18's and h&r's? Do they fill the well nice? My '11 has had h&r since a week or so after I bought it last year. Putting new wheels on in the spring. Can't decide between 18s or 19s

just wanted to make sure because my tires are a little wider and I didnt know with the 55 profile if that was to much to make it rub

See for yourself, here's a page from my cardomain. Overall I like how it looks and I don't want to go too big because the ride quality will suck. Keep in mind tires for 19s will cost more because of odd size and probably be harder to find if you ever get a flat.

Nuchieboy, I have pretty much the exact setup you will have. Camry V6 SE, H&R springs, 19"x8" TSW Cadwell wheels with 225/40R19.

My signature pic (below) is with the original 245/35R19 and they were fine but I prefer the handling characteristics of the current 225/40R19. For tires, I would highly recommend a set of Hankook Ventus V12's. They seem to have the best balance of cost and performance but I have tried thus far.

Did you find the 245/35/19 a bit harsh? Thats what I have on mine.....and I'm wondering could I have gone with a 245/40/19?

My wheels are 19x8.5

Couldn't tell you whether the 245/40s would rub on your car but considering you already have 19x8.5, my guess is that it will.

I don't recall much of a difference in ride quality between the previous 245/35 and current 225/40 tires. It is significantly harsher than the stock 17s but if I am used to having a fairly semi-harsh riding suspension from previous cars. Most passengers don't even comment on the ride harshness so I don't think it is too bad at all.

I personally would not recommend putting anything larger than the 245/35 tires on the Camry V6 because the increased rotational mass of the larger tires seems to cause the car's acceleration performance to drop a measurable amount.
