USA DTRA's UPDATE THREAD

Well Hi there guys MyNames David and I Have a 2010 camry SE.
ive had it for a couple years now. my parents got it when i was a sophmore,
now its Mine had it my ending year as a junior.
I dont have any picture of it when i first got the car but i have some picture now to update what i did

First thing i did was a new head unit wasnt diggin the stock
so i got a SonyCDX-GT565UP



then i got a system
1500w planet audio amp
with one 12" deluxe qpower sub

after a while i accidently blew my rear speakers and replaced them with a pair of
polk audio db690 i got for free from my friend





LED TIME!!!

then

i got some tint
35% or 25& on front and 5% on rear and back

debadge

little scruffs where i took off emblems




black outh SE and Camry gonna do logo later when i have time

black emblems look good...def need to do that toyota one soon!

plasti-dipping the wheels doesn't sound like a good idea...just my opinion though!

just waiting to get like 20 nucks and my car back from the shop
i got tboned by an old lady in the parking lot and my car is in the dealer ship getting fixed up so probably a week to be finished
i would post pics of accident but my phone mem card got jacked up

i did my emblems with just reg flat black spray paint ima plasti dip front and if i like it ima PD the back if not just gonna spray paint it.

I tried plasti-dipping the stock rims...took it off as soon as it was dry...it doesn't look good at all...

you think it look better on a red car??
red with black ?
i mean i did it at my shop in school to this jeep were fixing up and it didnt look bad for one shitty coat.

Sorry, no pics...Its possible, but i'm not very optimistic seeing your emblems...it just doesn't stick out that well...but I've really got no idea. It may look much better on your car...

Just leave the rims as is until you can buy new ones.

Imo plastidipping the rims will look very cheap and it will probably flake off quickly since its not a permanent coat of paint.

just save up you won't regret it, and plastidipping the rims...you probably will

and nice work so far.
I painted my wheels on my cavalier before I traded it in for my Camry. I used the Duplicolor wheel spray paint and it held up pretty well for the 6 months I had those wheels on.
Can't wait to see more progress
