transmission woes
06 camry 2azfe 5 speed auto 88k
i kno these transmissions are a bit "jerky" but now mine is having a shifting problem...... today coming from a stoplight i applied light-medium pressure on the throttle and the engine reved to redline and held 1st gear at redline for about 3 seconds.... i even let down on the throttle a bit and it still stuck in gear...... it then shifted normally
it has done this a few times before randomly and had had other shifting woes...... it hasnt done it recently but alot of times it would "buckle" a bit on the 2-3 upshift (it almost felt like it was slipping)
other than these few things if shifts normally for the most part
i recently did a transmission "flush" on it (drained it 3 times) and replaced the tranny filter
- castrol import tranny fluid
- beck/arnley filter
- lucas transmission additive (not the trans fix)
- cleaned the pan completely of all debris with brake clean
what do u guys think?? maybe something electrical or a sensor or a solenoid?
