2008 Camry Gas Cap Issues

Hello,
I have a 08 Camry I took to the dealer last evening due to a CEL.
Said the gas cap had a slow leak, if it comes on again, to bring it back
and they will replace the cap (It's Certified and Under Warranty). It has under 20K on the clock! Anyone else come across this?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply! Camry has under 20K on the clock. Maybe I should buy in bulk?

Thanks,

I don't think you should be changing gas caps every so often. Maybe you just got a bad one.

Just buy 1, a good one or OEM.

Just an update...
CEL came back on again, figured it would and was time to get
The dealer to order me up a brand new gas cap. Wrong O!!
Turns out the pump for the evaporative emissions was shot.
I guess the system does a pressure test every start up.
At any rate, I got a new pump and charcoal can on my ride to the
Tune of $700. I am glad it was under warranty!
