USA Oxygen Sensors

Could anyone tell me where the 3 oxgen sensors, Bank 1, Bank 2 and Bank are located on a 2005 Camry, 3.0 litre, V6.

Before and after the converter on each bank. The exhaust manifold and the converter are one piece. Look for the wiring for each sensor.

Hello Donald:

Since the engine runs parallel with the front of the car, we have been told that there are two oxgen sensors on the left of the engine and one on the right side of the engine close to the windshield. Where might I be able to get pictures of the sensors location?

There should be 4X 02's for a v6. 2X Pre-cat AF/02, 2X post-cat 02 for left and right. Without that setup the ECU cannot determine which cat has failed.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is the sensor at the rear manifold before the cat.
Bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor at the rear manifold but after the cat.

Bank 2 sensor 1 is the sensor in the front manifold before the cat.
Bank 2 sensor 2 is the sensor in the front manifold but after the cat.

The sensors after the cats are actually threaded into the exhaust pipe below the cats but before the juncture of the front and back exhausts. The power for the lower sensors is very easy to find. Look for wire looms. Regards
