I have the ebc flat rotors and hawk hps pads and honestly I hate the hawk pads. The stop great but they squeak and whine everytime I lightly press on the brake. And yes they are basically brand new.
Did you follow Hawks brake in procedure? Did you use any disc brake quiet?
Try one of those. I use the red stuff with every brake job, but the other one should work just as well. On my Spec-V I even have Hawk DTC-05's, which are racing pads, and I don't have any noise. You could also spray brake cleaner on your rotors.

EBC pads do not have that problem... well at least I have never experienced it. Very quiet!

+1. I'm just glad that you put him in his place and showed the world that a family man that doesn't have to have a "Sports Car" to have fun. People think that everyone in the world has the kind of expendable money to have a 2 family cars and a sports car just to race, and even though you do I thank you for showing those who don't that they can do it with what they have and not spend much money doing so and still have a reliable car.

i think it works for you gen 6'ers as well. much cheaper than a BBK kit from a reputable company and doesn't have the cool factor saying "I have highlander brakes" but at least it's Toyota.

might fit! so far, solara 17" wheels have fit, and my current motegi 17" winter rims fit as well. I have a Gen 5.5 though, so I can't say for sure on the Gen 6. it's a VERY TIGHT fit though in both cases, I get maybe 1/2 an inch or less of clearance for the bigger calipers.

Fun video to watch, not to mention great driving skills..you reminded me of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. It was great watching you blow by the miata, BMW,Civics etc. You repped the Camry very nicely.

Keep up the great work man!! We want to see more videos soon!!
Thank you so much! Laguna Seca would be fun but I think I am lacking the power for that track! :-) in this car anyways haha!

I completely agree you can have any car and it does not have to be a sports car to have fun! I am really happy with my purchase of the Camry!

Hey which kind of camera did you use to film your session?
I was thinking about bringing one to record my fails when I go too lol
I have a DSLR nikon D3100 with HD recording that i thought would be okay, the one thing im concerned
about is mounting it, in which i got a 5lb suction mount and was going to just stick in the back windshield
and maybe support it on the bottom with the rear dashboard.
or i might just get a GoProHD, but curious to see what you used.

I used my Canon 7D with extended battery pack mounted on a tripod!
Here is a picture of what mine looked like LOL.. I extended the two rear tripod legs through the rear seat belt holes and down to the chassis of the car under the rear seat. I then used all 3 seat belts crossing each other and the tripod to hold it in place also using the top tripod swivel mount into the top of the arm rest.. As you can see in the video it worked great HAHAHA!!! http://youtu.be/1Vm6PNearEU?hd=1&t=1m30s
In all honesty I would go with a GO-PRO HERO 2 with the Motor-sports package.

LMAO!! That setup looks crazy, but it worked well.
I've seen suction cup go pros fall off of cars during an autocross. I'd worry about loosing it on a road course and someone running it over, especially since the setup is ~$200
The mount that I built only took about 2 days of my spare time on work days to build. The bar and heat shrink were just spare parts that I had then I bought U screws and wing nuts and a $5-10 table tripod. It was really simple to build and I spent less than $15 in total building it. The ones that I saw that were for sale at the time were over $50. Now you can get them for around $40.
