Hello!
I am new to the forums and I was wondering if I could get some help from you guys. I have a 6th gen 2007 Camry XLE and I am doing some upgrades in the sound department. I am in the middle of doing the Big 3, but I encountered a little issue/question. The negative terminal on the battery has two cables attached to it, one goes to the chassis underneath the battery and the other one goes inside a loom bunched up with other cables. The two cables are too short to be reconnected to the new battery terminal and I don't think splicing them with an extension will be a good idea, besides it is a pain in the neck to do it. The question is, the cable that goes into a loom with other cables where does it go? Can I just cut it and retape the loom shut? I already installed new cables, 1/0 gauge, going from the chassis to the negative terminal and from the engine block to the negative terminal of the battery.
If anyone can share some info and/or pics of their big 3 upgrade it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
