5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have a 2011 SE with light grey interior. The factory carpeted floor mats do not cover the area to the left of the brake (automatic transmission) and in just resting my foot there. it is making the carpet already show stains and wear which means I am going to have to shampoo it on a regular basis and hope that the stains and dirt come out.
Has anybody run across mats that would replace the factory mats and cover that area? Thanks in advance.

WeatherTech floorliners cover most of it, I have the liners and I put the OEM mats right on them. When the weather is bad or I have muddy feet from work, I pull the mat and toss it in the back seat. Unfortunately the Camry mats aren't as tough as the Tacoma mats (163K and still original, clean up like new!)

I have a 2011 Camry SE (black interior) and I have the WeatherTech floor liners as well, I love them. They don't cover it all the way but 75% of it. HotRod53 what's the point in having the liners if your still going to put your floor mats over them?
Thanks for the responses. What about a carpeted version? Alternatively, is there a way to cover that area around the dead pedal so that it doesn't get the dirt and the wear?
One idea I had was to buy a roll of the sticky clear film that you put put over carpet to keep movers dirty footprints off them and cut a piece to fit over that area. What scares me is the fact the film has a sticky surface on one side to affix it to the carpet. OK for now that it is cool but when it gets hold I envision a sticky residue mess.
Open to any reasonable solutions. Thanks.

I laid my OEM mats in them in both my Tacoma and my Camry. WeatherTech given you new mat clips for the drivers side in case you don't have them. Even the OEM clips are long enough to go up thru the WeatherTechs into the OEM mats.
Some may ask why would I put them in the WeatherTechs, but while the Weathertechs are highly functional, I don't like to ride around with my feet in a plastic type mat, carpet is so much nicer under normal conditions. The WTs fit so well that people not familliar with them probably think they are OEM. I had Pickups with low level trim over the years which includes rubber mat floors, IMO just not as nice as carpet.

I got these and love them, they cost lesser than the weather techs. All you have to do is cut out the rubber part out so you can access your trunk/gas lever.
