HAVC globes changed now A/C not so cold?

Hi all, over the weekend I changed my HAVC globes as all 5 had blown. When i took it for a test drive all lights are now working but the air conditioning isnt blowing as cold as it used to. Its as if the temperature control knob starts at warmish setting and adjusts to hot, not starting at cold setting. I have the older style manual control knobs that operate cables. So I took it apart again and checked to see if the cables were attached correctly, and it all looks fine. What could cause this? where does the temperature control knob wire go to? as i havent checked its position at the other end of the wire.
Thanks in advance (great forum, all my other questions have been solved just by reading here)

What year big? The older vehicles had a slide lever that opened up a valve to allow more hot coolant to flow through the heater radiator as the lever was moved from left to right. My 04 Camry has a rotary knob that positions an air mix door that blends incoming ambient air with air flowing across the heater core to produce a desired discharge temperature. The coolant from the engine circulates through the heater core unhindered by a valve. If you have a cable to adjust your heater discharge temp, you probably have a valve in the heater inlet hose in the engine compartment. I have loved The Seekers all my life. Hearing Judith Durham sing "I Am Australian" and watching the audience join in is an experience I will never forget. I wish we had something like that in the US. My regards to Australia and Australians for being such a good ally through the best and worst of times.

My car is a 2004 model, it has the manual style turn knobs for the temperature and fan control, When i took the HAVC from the dash i could see the cables connected to the knobs. The Knobs work freely and the temperature gets colder and warmer (I can feel the flap open and close when i turn it from cold to hot) but its no longer as cold as it used to be (just before i changed the globes). Could it be the air mix door youre talking about is not closing fully? if so where is this door? Im guessing its below the controls. Thanks for the reply by the way

Are Camry's sold in Australia that much different from those sold in the US? If you have "nobs", you have electric servo motors that position the recirc, temp and mode doors. The heater discharge temp is adjusted by mixing ambient air or recirc air with air diverted through the heater core. Check the servo motor, wiring and fuse. The air mix door is inside the HVAC housing. The servo motors for the temp and mode doors are mounted on the sides of the housing.I have never worked on this system but I would expect that the servos attatch to the doors in such a way that ensures proper positioning. Are you "the one who waltzed Matilda?" Regards

I think the camry's are pretty much the same car here as there. I took the lower part off the dash on the weekend and checked the cable that connects to the lower flap for the temperature, all looked fine, it seems to open and close fully. So I have no idea now why the air co isnt as cold as it was before I changed the HAVC globes.
Any suggestions, could it need a regas? I wouldnt of thought so as it went from super cold to just cold in the space of a day.
