Double plat Denso plugs in a 2AZ-FE?

I have 6 band new Denso PK20R11 double platinum plugs I keep on hand for my 94 5SFE Camry, and Denso says they are OK for my 2003 2AZ-FE. I'd like actual feedback from folks who have installed these plugs in a 2AZ-FE, not speculation please. Only issue I can think may come into play would be change interval. Can't see how much if any performance would be effected (same heat range as the IK20), cause a code to trip trip, etc.

Thanks.

Car comes with Denso Iridium plugs but I can't see why it would hurt to use the platinums other than lifespan.

From what I understand the only difference is the strength of the tip. As long as they are the same heat range, platinums should work just fine, they just won't last as long.

IMO Its a downgrade. Somebody had those on my 02 I4 Camry when I bought it. Put the OE NGK Laser Iridiums on, difference was huge. Like night and day. +3 MPG, better performance (IMO), pinging stopped and engine was overall quieter. OE plugs are good up to 100k.

platinum is indeed considered a "downgrade" from iridium. iridium also happens to be oem spec for the 2az-fe. i'd stick to iridium.
