2009 SE on nissan 19' 370z wheels.. opinions please!!!
hello peeps i own nissans n toyotas and i wanted to try some nissan wheels on the camry
please give me ya honest opinion n i just jacked the car put the wheels to test fitting n took m off...
so i know it kinda looks like a SUV and I'm on stock springs....
i test fit the wheels n spinning... just need 245 tires for the 10 inch rear wheels because i have 265 on m for now...
how can they fit? the 9" offsets are so high..
or are you on spacers.
well if/when you lower it you might run into problems.. (assuming no spacers)
and I assume you have hub rings? cause i believe nissan = 66.1 and toyota = 60.1.
I was thinking about putting 370z on my car as well except the spokes would look awkward with our body styling, the 370z is more jagged whereas the Camry is more rounded.
I can't really much until you lower it or do something with it cause DAMN that looks like a baby highlander or something.
and BTW if that's an SE where's the bodykit?
looks like something between a
and
^that, and make it look like that with a good drop on coilovers (lowering springs will barely help lol)
Really? At least give it a chance with a decent drop lol
...cause in all honesty I also considered the 370z 19s but the offset/fitment didn't work
I still don't think so. Like you said, the offset doesn't work. And the spoke design with its weird, sharp angled concavity doesn't match the smooth body lines of the Camry, especially that stock front end.
It just looks very "heavy" on the Camry.

I agree with the concavity and lines, which fits fine on a 370z with it's headlights and talights and fangs under the grills, but the OP doesn't have a bodykit, I thought the bodykit SE or RKsports might make a difference, but we'll just have to see.
i agree too on some of peeps comments
thanks everyone...
now Cking.... i don't know i bought the car from a private owner... i took the SE badge off n put some hybrid ones on ...IDK why.. but i think cuz he mod the muffler n sounds like a v8 or sum so he maybe wanted fool peeps thinking he was driving a hybrid with a deep sound...
now I'm surprise bout they fitting wit no issues ... NOW once again i didn't test drive the car...
this was only a test fit for the rims...
i spin the tires n i didn't notice nothing on my "visual test"
i had my 20s on the passenger side ... n the 19s on the driver... so maybe ill go for a driving test once i get some 245 for the rear wheels...
I'm on stock springs... no coil no drop nothing NADA lol ...
SE kit ... idk god question i ask myself da same thing...

now do u rub with coils n 9.5 ???
i was thinking on lower my car with some TEINS but i don't know if id rub with some 20s 8.5
245/35/20 tires......

That would probably rub depending on whats the offset of those rims.
Please include offset in wheel/tire spec guys lol

Yes there would a some stretch though.
personally have done 225/40 on 9.5 so 235/40 on 10 would be okay in my opinion.
Your car would be very close to rubbing on the inside but id though since you're on stock suspension. my 9.5+30 is about 1 finger gap away from the inside shock body with 235-35s. my camber is too negative so it mildly/barely rubs on deep dips/heavy loads, but that's just my set up.

lots of potential!
I was thinking the same thing. SE w/ LE/XLE/Hybrid body trim? LE/XLE grille? The taillights are Hybrid lights also. Looks more like an LE with some Hybrid badges added and taillights swapped. I'd be interested to see the interior. Not sure why anyone would put in that much effort to make an SE look like an LE/XLE/Hybrid. It's usually the other way around.
As for as the rims go, not a fan really. Lowering it might help, but I don't think I'd care for those rims on any car. JMO.
