Anyone have TSW wheels?

Been thinking about picking up a set for my 2008 base Camry. More specifically, these:

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...|2008&pc=53248

Wanted to stay with the stock size so I don't have to buy tires. Don't really see much use in going with a larger tire anyway.

Overpriced for 16s in my opinion.

I don't really see a point of spending $600 to replace stock rims of the same diameter...

Why not 17s or 18s? If you're going to spend $600..might as well go a little bigger.
Larger wheels such as 17s or 18s look better as well. (up to a point, certainly not past 19s or20s if you don't have a kit)

Take this base camry found in thisthread
It's lowered only 1-2 inches btw.
those are 17s.

^clean and OEM looking. money well spent if you're not doing anything crazy. I do believe he had stock 16s as well..

Point taken, also looks like going with 17" has more options as well.

It's something I should consider.

Not interested in lowering since the roads here in LA suck and my Z06 is already low. Just looking for to get some rims for the looks.

That's a pretty sweet deal.

what kind of lugs and tires?

can't wait til you put em on, throw on some lowering springs and call it a day

what fitment? (width and offset, since i;m assuming you went with 17s)

Went with 17x7.5 215/55/17 on Nexen tires. New TPMS, chrome lugs (it was either that or black lugs).

I got the silver wheels, I don't like chrome.

I think the offset is 40, IIRC.

Not gonna lower it, my Z06 is low enough already and I can't stand how I have to change how I drive by taking everything at an angle.

The roads here in Louisiana suck, that combined with the constant rain make driving a pain in the ass at times.

I do plan on painting the calipers and brackets black, though.

I'm gonna get a set of drilled/slotted rotors or maybe just slotted rotors and ceramic pads from Brake Motive. Doing it just for the looks since the 5 spokes will open my wheels up. I'm thinking that I'm just going to clean and spray paint the calipers with the old rotors/brakes on there since I'm gonna change them out anyway. Gonna spray paint the hats on the new rotors as well.

Cost of the brakes is $190 shipped. People knock them cause they're made in China, whatever, I do get them for the looks. I have a set on my Z06 and put a set on my parents' Envoy and those cheap brakes have held up in function and looks for many months now. Then again, neither of us live in a place that has snow/salt so that is a big plus.

Wheels and tires came in today:

The red/black parts in the background are to my '03 Z06. I took the interior of the car apart.

I paid $1440 delivered for the wheels, tires and lugs.

Bought from a place called Speed Depot in Florida. Ask for Alex, a lot of guys on Corvette Forum buy from him.

Rained today so couldn't put them on. Gonna do it tomorrow.
