Switchbacks Plug and Play?

Are the LED switchbacks for front signals an easy plug and play or are relay harnesses required?

Based on experience what amount of SMD LED units are suitable for this function? 64 or 32?

Post your sources as well. THX!

Everything you need to know has been answered in - Master List of LEDs Bulb Sizes & DIY/Tutorials for Interior/Exterior Lights

You need load resistors or change your flasher module. Just plugging in switchbacks will cause it to hyperflash because LEDs require less power so the car will think the bulb is out even if its working.

Brightness of LEDs all depends on what is used and the amount of light is being put out. A bulb with only 7 LEDs can put out more or the same amount of light as a 32 LED. But based on what I see on the web in regards to the switchbacks that are available, 32 or 64 LED is enough. I have 32 myself.

Questions or information can be posted in its appropriate thread.
