USA 2007 le v6 tires

I am looking to purchase tires for my 07 LE v6..I live in NYC and need a good all around touring tire that can handle rain and snow well..I currently have a set of Nexen 3000's on the car now which have such horrible road noise that drive me nuts...I was going to decide between the Kumho ecsta LX Platinums or the General Altimax HP..If anyone can give me any advice as to which brand i should buy would be a great help..thanks everyone

Gen6

I am on my second set of Bridgestone Serenity tires, 215/55/17. Have been very pleased with their good handling and comfort. They are quiet and are extremely good in the wet. They handle down pours, deep standing water etc at speed with no problem. Wear rating is 425 and it has a 50,000 mile warranty. The first pair did reach that so my store gave me a great prorated price on the second set which cost me $100. Not the cheapest at $160 but well worth it.

I can vouch for the serenitys too. Quiet, smooth riding tire. I also recommend the Goodyear comfor-tred assurance, the grand touring version.

I just got yokohama YK580's on My 2011 Camry SE. They are great so far. I cant say much about tread life but it has a 60,000 mile warranty. I've only had them for 2 days, but they are smooth, handled great in the rain we got yesterday.

Disregard my earlier post. The Yokos suck. Excessive road noise and rough ride. Just had them swapped out for the Michelin Primacy MXV4's. Love the michelins.

Just put Michelin Primacy MXV4's on my 07 Toyota LE,215/60/16, also. Live in the Dallas, Texas area. Noticed they are quiet and seem like they handle well. Bought at Discount Tires aka America's Tires with a $70 rebate. That rebate may have ended, but they usually offer every other month, or so.
