..use search option for one.
since i'm here might as well help you out but next time you should try searching.
-nothing special about oem filter, just buy it from somewhere,
you can find it @ your local dealer or amazon.com
1. you need special adapter for the cartridge filter
make sure u have a wrench as well that the adapter can fit into.
2. oem puralor mobil1, fram is my last pick.
3. filter is easy, just u need the adapter + wrench, twist left, it's off.
*** google search how to change oil & youtube search "2007 camry oil change"

The 2AZ doesn't have the cartridge filter. Only the 2GR and 2AR do.

Seatbelt! you're piloting a vehicle were dual vvt-i hitts harder then VTEC and the torquesteer can possibly snap your wrists
14MM wrench or socket
Ratchet (if you use a socket)
Rags
Oil (0W20 or 5W20 Mobil 1 is what I use)
Oil Filter (stated above)
Jack
Jack Stands
Drain pan
Filter access is good but you will have to jack up the front of the car and place it on jackstands to have enough room for a drain pan.
As far as filters go stay away from OEM. Their construction is only slightly better than a Fram. Good filters are: Bosch Premium, Purolator PureOne, Purolator Regular, Any WIX filters, Mobil 1, and K&N.
Depending on how much you want to spend you need to only look at the Purolator PureOne or Bosch Premium. These are made the best and have the best media.
You will need to head down to the Toyota dealer and buy yourself a drain plug gasket and replace it when you drain the oil. If a dealer is too far maybe buy them online. Failure to replace this gasket has been the cause for every single stripped oil pan on a Toyota I have seen. When replacing this gasket make sure you remove it off the oil pan with a screwdriver if it's stuck on there or with pliers if it's stuck on the drain plug.
I let the oil drain for at least 10 minutes to get the most out of it.

I just recently had the oil changed with the synthetic and my toyota dealer scheduled it's next change in 10000 miles. I'm going to have them change it in 5000 and we'll see what condition the used oil is in.

The anti-siphon valve or anti-drainback valve prevents the oil in the engine from draining back to the crankcase. The valve helps prevent dry starts. All aftermarket filters built to spec will have them, so it's really not a big deal.
Bosch or Purolator PureOne (both are now the same company, Bosch bought Purolator) are excellent filters you can easily find. So is the Mobil-1 made by CHampion Labs, but costs 2x. There are other boutique filters as well but I never used them. Some TN members have used Motorcraft FL400S from Walmart, this filter is made by Purolator/Bosch and is easier to reach because it's slightly longer. Many members will stay away from Fram.
You can also find 5qt Mobil-1 jugs at Walmart at good prices.

I've been doing my oil changes since day one, and always used valvoline 5w20 (regular, non syntetic), and whatever filter Autozone had in their special (fram, bosch, stp, whatever). I'm switching to 5w30 high mileage now since the engine is now ticking on every start up, and after a few minutes of sitting in idle.
I don't know what Toyota reccomends for your car, but as long as you do your oil changes frequently (3-5k), and don't drive the car like shit, it'll last you for a good while.
I'm pretty sure the NAPA Gold filters are made by Wix.
Purolator is a good filter.
If you want to go high end, get Amsoil, Mobil or K&N. They're $10+ each but going with a cheap filter doesn't save you that much money when compared to what a cheap filter can do to your motor.
FRAM is just plain garbage. I stay away from Mobil as well, it burns off pretty quickly. The 5 quart jugs of Pennzoil or Quaker State at Wal Mart are hard to beat.
Yeah Wix makes the NAPA filters and they seem decent. I use their ATF filter kits and fuel filter but haven't tried their oil filters. Filtration efficiency wise can't beat Bosch/Purolator PureOne.
Assuming the car is not a SE or lowered, you may be able to change the oil without a jack. There is enough clearance to get my head under and everywhere I need to reach is close enough for me to drain the oil and change the filter without raising it.

Ensure you get the Napa Gold filter though if you get Napa filters.
