teins for 2005 camry?

Does tein make a spring that will the 2005 camry? Will the solara springs work? I had megans on there but the fronts left less than a desireable drop and ride so I'm back on stock and want to go with teins till I can afford coilovers.

The Solara springs will work. I believe it is the Gen 1 Solara that is the same as the Gen 5 Camry's.

teins are supposed to provide a good size drop and a smooth ride, but im open to suggestions.

Well if you wanna be safe and go for springs that were actually made for a Camry, go with Megan Racing springs. Based from all of my research, Megan Racing will give you the lowest drop. I had Megan Racing springs before I got coilovers and I had no issues whatsoever. They improved my handling as well as lowered my car. Also there are, in fact, Tein springs for our Camry but Megan Racing is cheaper and will lower your car a slight bit more.

But, if you want, you can do some research to see if there are any companies that have a better bang for your buck. I checked last year and it was Megan who won. But since last year, I've come across more parts available for Camrys so maybe there is something new. Only go with a reputable name brand though i.e Tein, Megan Racing, Eibach etc. I wouldn't go for something that does not have an actual name.

i just took my megans off because they barely lowered my car and contantly popped while turning. ive lowered alot of cars and these were by far the worse springs ive ever had...

those teins are only listed from 02 to august of 03, not shure if they fit.

Lol mine were perfect. Only reason I got coilovers was to slam my car. And my friend has Megan springs on his Corolla and he has no issues either.
But honestly, no spring will get you "low." Unless, God forbid, you cut them.

so it seems the springs were changed a bit in 2004, as trd part #ptr07-06040-19 fits the 04-11 camry and 04-08 solara. this means, or i assume, that the 07+ camry springs and 04+ solara springs will fit the 04+ camry. this could be the reason why my megan 02-06 springs didnt barely do squat and were noisy as f#ck... they fit but didnt seat in the factory spring pocket.
