Your camry IS an IS300, dont let any of those people give you any crap about having a toyota IS300. Plus you have the SE (sport edition) in a v6, consider yourself on the lucky side of the gen5 camry. Be proud of your camry!!

Hi there!

You're one lucky guy that got a Gen5 Cam.

About mods like intake, we don't consider it as a "mod" because that's just too basic. Before you do anything, think about what you want out of the car: the look or performance? Then you'll need to know your own budget (ie. how much $ you will put into the car).

And most importantly, don't buy "mods" just because of what they are. Do some research and know what you're getting and how it will affect the car (advantage vs disadvantage).

Then everything will be easy from there.

Yep, you bought a slow family car! haha Don't worry, I have the same car so I know what it's all about...

Performance wise, get lowering springs to increase handling prowess (and looks too). Choose from TRD, Eibach, and H&R. Get an intake or drop in a K&N replacement filter (not out yet but you can improvise). Get the custom Y-pipe from Ultimate Racing. See pics here http://www.picturetrail.com/ and type in "sev6" for the album to view. Ask for Johnson at 416-587-2592.

I'm sure you 'young kids'

Okay... I have a few more questions
So while looking around and looking at my budget... which is around 1000 USD
i thought about but not for sure yet

1) Intake
2) Lowering with Eibach Springs

I was wondering if anybody knows where I could get an Intake for a V6 engine.. I've only found those for V4.

And for springs, does anybody know how much their Prokit + Installation would cost?
And also what other things I would have to do
to it? To adjust to it
Also If i lower, would the Exhaust pipe , which sorta bends lower than the rest of the car, would it hit?
Also, does it affect the suspension?

Thanks a bunch

There's no (cone filter) intake available for the '02 yet.

For the springs, they should be around USD$250, plus 2-3 hours of labour. You'll need to get an alignment done after the install.

I don't think you need to worry about your exhaust unless you park your car too close to the curb or ride in *very* rough roads with 1m deep pot holes.

I'm not sure what stock offset is. It should be +38 or +40. Bolt pattern is 5x4.5 inches or 5x114.3 mm for you metric people.
