2004 camry key

Where's the cheapest place to buy a spare key for a 2004 camry? and how much do dealerships usually charge to program the key?

i think the only place to get those keys are at the dealerships because of the transponders (security chip) in them. i know some dealerships only charge u to cut the key and will program it for free, at least thats what the one here told me when i went and asked how much it was, but i forgot the price

I needed to replace my spare transponder key for my 2002 XLE, and my local Toyota wanted to charge me $30 for the key and $60 to program it.

However, I bought the key and the programming instructions for less than $30 from eBay. I got the key cut at a locksmith shop and programmed it myself. It worked like a charm!! Good luck.

Its about 90 bucks at the dealer for the key w/ the chip inside to get replaced. Its outrageous.
