I dought if it was a factory item. It sounds like a dealers add-on option. It was probably installed locally around where you live. Ask the dealer who installed it and take the car back to them.

nah actually it is a factory option. just noone knows about it. goto toyota's website and look when you build your own car it is listed as an option on one of the screens. i guss i will just take it back to the dealer and have them look at it. maybe one of the wires is jut pinched or something. and yes they run the wire through the seat

If your car is a 2005- whatever the problem is, it should be covered under warranty. (as long as it was either a factory option (never heard of it) or a dealer add on) The dealer should fix it for free. Just take it to them and let them figure it out.

Factory screens? Me and my friend installed 2 tvs in a IS300. We ran the wires on the inside of the bar and ran the wires through the seat.. Looks pretty cool, will take pictures if i have time.

there is a recent 'recall' on the the passenger front seat (04-early05) because installation of baby seats could loosen cables underneath the seat, maybe (and not by a baby seat) a cable got pulled out.

be careful with those seats too, there are actually airbags inside them
