how do i remove the rear speaker's of a 04 camry se non-jbl system!!

im guessing, remove the grilles, then unscrew the speakers?

i dont know...but thats generally how you would do it...

well i looked at the grills seem's it can be taken off from the top!! looks like the whole board will have to come off!! damm alot of work!! ahead

You're right. Actually, the rear seats, the rear pillar columns, and the rear deck have to be taken out. I have the repair manual, so if you want directions, I can post them.

Ok, here goes. These are actually links to pdf files, since that's what I have and it'd take too long to copy the directions into a post. They are for the 2002 Camry, but should be the same for all Gen 5's and 5.5's. In case you don't already know, your car is Japan-built (TMC) if your VIN starts with a J, and US-built (TMMK) if it starts with a 4.

Overall directions to remove rear speakers
You'll need to start off with the rear seats (Japan, US)
The following gives an overall picture of everything for the rear seats (Japan, US)

Then, onto the rear side garnish (directions for both, overall picture)

And then the rear seat belts (Japan, US, overall)

The rest is in the overall directions for the rear speakers. Note that you might not have to do everything in the extra files. Have fun!
