Also if you are interested in getting the TRD exhaust there is a cheaper alternative. I think it has been mentioned several times before, but the borla exhaust it the same as the TRD exhaust. Except that TRD is etched in the side, that’s why I got the TRD exhaust, also it is considered a Toyota part. Since I have full coverage insurance the insurance company has to cover that also. I think the TRD exhaust runs around $408-499. and the borla around $300.

Looks good Josh, and you are welcome. I am glad to see it go to a good home

I think I should have just bought ear plugs for the wife and kids and kept it

so basically you are paying over 100 dollars more JUST for TrD to be in there?

That is one way to look at it.

Another would be to keep the car 100% Toyota

and yet another would be to keep toyota from complaining about aftermarket parts if there is a warranty issue. I know the law prohibits this behavior, but we all know dealers try to pull it everychance they get.

If none of these items matter to you, then it is obvious you should buy the borla.

Basically, many people spend and extra $100 just so that their parts will be covered by warranty and their insurance nevertheless. I wanted TRD not only because it has "TRD" engravings on it, but much rather because it'll be covered under my insurance.

I bought the borla exhaust for 290 shipped, sounds nice, not loud or ricey, I felt I lost a little torque at the low end, could be just me.
