Dickson, nice job on the 2002 Camry preview. Did you design those yourself??? What's with the "halley cow" and "juicy" comments??

I'm disappointed by the specs. First, I thought the V6 would get more power in light of the crazy HP numbers of the new Altima. It stays at 200HP, same with the Gen4s. However, the 155HP for the 4 banger is more respectable. For the tranny, the stick is only available for the lowest model!

The thing that gets me is why it is drum brakes across the board. Maybe I'm reading the specs wrong.

Dickson ever heard of "Spell Check" ? or try this http://www.dictionary.com

The specs on the new Camry are disappointing compared with the rest of pack (most notibly the Altima). It seems like Toyota is loosing their focus. Don't get me wrong! They still make solid cars. They just have to keep up or their loyal client may go elsewhere.

Phi, how about AskJeeves.com?

Yea I think I did a typo on the spec sheet. All V6 models have ABS, Front/Rear Disc.

One reason that I might guess they leave the engine 200hp, is that the S/C might still be compatible with the 2002 model. (It's probably a 1MZ-FE anyway.)
