Question for Gen 5 owners!

I am looking into getting a Gen 5 XLE. My question is how much would I have to drop the car if I get 18's? And if I get 19's would I have to drop it? I actually like the ride the way it is and I won't put on springs if I don't have to. Thanks in advance.

You don't have to drop the car for changing a bigger rim

I kinow that but I also don't want a big gap between the tire and fender. I currently have a Gen 3 with 18's and Intrax springs and there is about a 1 inch gap which I like.

If you get 18s and get the Eibach springs, you should be fine. From what people have said, it DOES change the ride quality, but its still VERY smooth.

if you want a small fender gap.....just drop the car....the size of the gap should be the same when you get the right size tires with the 18s
