125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
Retro in the yellow capsules from www.HIDtech.com. Not only will you get much better yellow color (not the pale crap from yellow coated bulbs) but you can use much more reliable standard 9006 bulbs than some cheap "Hyper" bulb.
30 bucks in parts, plus a little elbow grease.
It looks amazing with HID (retrofits) and is more functional.
That's a big glare off those HIDs! If I had fogs, I would put them in a heartbeat, but I don't, so I can't. It's legal since it's not glaring high, it's only illegal on headlights. HIDs with yellow fogs = JDM yo! The IS300 has them and they look nice.
