If you look around my website it explains how I did the instrument guage. I replaced the stock orange LED's with blue LED's in the instrument cluster. Soon to follow will be the climate controls to finish it off.

yo man... just saw your pics of the clock and head unit LED's. very nice work. all the way down to the proper labelling of the panel. and if i needed a magnifying glass to work on something... i think i'd pass. props on your diligence.

Thanks again everyone for the comments. I ended up putting a couple more layers of the blue plastic in front of the clock... it now matches the color of the dash perfect. I'll get pics updated soon.

Turns out the climate controls will be more work than I anticipated... basically I'll have to remake the round trim rings around the controls from scratch... not sure how I want them to look or how I am going to do that yet though.

So I ordered the LED's, Thanks for the info, I will attempt the operation on my Gen5 also. Did you get a Mach did you get a chance to take apart the climate controls? If you did where there Bulbs or LED's also? Why would you have to redo the trim rings around the control?
