Gen5 Homelink Visor Camry 04 SE

Hi guys. I did a search and could not locate exactly what I am looking for, so forgive me if it has been discussed already. I currently own an Lexus RX300 with the Homelink system in the driver's side sun visor. I am wondering if something like this can be added to a 04 SE V6 Camry? I did not know if the power source for the homelink is actually in the visor or if wiring would need to be done?

If this is available, who would be the best source? Thanks again.

I am not sure about the visor but I know you can buy the rearview mirror that has the homelink in it. Well I just went to their website and it has changed since last time i was there. maybe you can do some searching or contact them to see about getting the mirror with te homelink in it. I am sure you could go to the dealer and get the visor also. Usually on most cars the wiring is there for features such as homelink jsut so it is easier in the manufacturing process. It is worth a call to the dealer to find out if it can be done. if not try contacting homlink direclty about finding a aftermarket dealer that deals with their products.

the camry is located in the overhead console, where the map light and moonroof button are.
dealer part dept. will cost you a few hundred dollars
ebay is a lot cheaper if you are lucky to find one.
if you have a light on your visor, i would imagine you can use that power source.
