Post Compare: 2007 Honda Accord Pics...Yay! or Nay? vs. Gen 6 Camry

These are a few pics of the 2007 Accord which is "supposed" to be the next-generation Accord but much to my surprise and IMO dismay, the next-gen Accord is basically identical to the 2002-06 Accord except for a complete redesign of the rear-end of the 2007 Accord.

The existing Accord has come under a lot of criticism for its awkward and frankly, "ugly", styling of its rear-end. The 2007 Accord rear looks as if they merged the end of the Accord Coupe and the Acura TL together. Honda is using LED lights on the 2007 Accord. Very ugly to me but other may like it.

IMO the Gen 6 Camry is going to eat the 2007 Accord alive!!!

This is in the wrong forum... belongs in General Discussion. But I say, nay. It looks horrible.

No, I posted this thread in the Camry Forum since the Accord competes WITH the Camry...NOT with Toyota in general. But I understand your viewpoint.

Oh.. in that case, you should change the title to "2007 Accord vs. 2007 Camry" 'cause otherwise, the mods are gonna look at it and move it

no offence to HONDA lovers but that doesnt impress me, But the camry 2007 looks like BMW 3 series from the side rear.

You can't really compare the two because this isn't a new design for the accord like the camry is... This is a mid-gen update like toyota does to the camrys...

I think giving the accord some reverse lights would help sales a little bit. = P

2007 Camry: What's the "H" doing there?

I think the gen3 Camry looks the best...of course I'm a little biased

maybe photoshop

the new camry looks like the acura TL's front, esp with the front lights and the side doors/panels that is almost vertical from the base to the window.

I would go with the camry if it can match or come close to accord's HP.

Uhhhh, you might want to read my original post again. Honda is marketing this as the "Next Generation" Accord. So technically, you can compare the Gen 6 Camry with the 2007 Accord. Unless Honda is planning on unveiling another new Accord design within the next two years, this Accord that I am displaying is indeed the Next Generation Accord.
