Getting tired of my 05 Camry

Maybe it's me, but my new Camry 4cyl Auto base model is annoying the crap out of me with all the little squeaks, pops, rattles, etc. coming from inside the car. I just passed 5000 miles btw.
Anytime I accelerate or brake, I get a set of squeaks, mainly from the dash and center console area. Rough roads bring out a couple of annoying rattles. Speed bumps seem to bring out a little of everything, including a groan from the rear suspension.
One rattle from the back of the car had to be fixed by the dealer. They put some padding on top of one of the struts.
I tracked down one really annoying rattle coming from the sunglass holder above the rearview mirror. Tracking down rattles is really tough in this car because the sounds seem to bounce around and you can't tell where they're coming from.

I traded in my 2000 Camry which was rattle free even after 70,000 miles. The new car is better in every way, roomier, faster, better seats, etc. It's just not built the same on the inside. The plastic must be really cheap. I also hate the Goodyear Integrity tires. They're noisy compared to the Goodyear ComforTred's I put on my last Camry, or even the original Dunlop tires that were on before that.

It's hard to complain because I actually paid less for this car than my 2000 Camry. That makes me wonder what kind of corners they're cutting to keep the prices down. I also wonder if buying an LE model would have made any difference. I'll probably get rid of this car soon and start looking at Accords again.

If you are having troubles with squeaks and rattles take it back to the dealer and let them take care of it. Unfortunately in my experience dash rattles and squeaks can be hard to diagnose and even harder to fix. But it is still under warranty and they should take care of it.

Just took my Cmary in yesterday for the dealer to fix the rattles. Once the parts get in next week I'll leave the car with all day. Dash squeks and window wind noise are to be rectified.

Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. If it isn't better within a certain number of trips, it can be deemed a lemon. If they won't do it, ask them to show you on another Camry. My 04 is dead slient and very nice, even with 100K miles.

Yeah, no kidding... my '02 couldn't be any quieter. Take it to the dealer.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

my 95 is quiet as a mouse!

only recently had I started to get a small rattle in the dash area. I simply pulled everything apart, and carefully put things back together looking for loose fitting pieces, and whatever I did must have fixed it.
