Wink hi....Is there any rumor about the HID headlight in 2007 camry??

Hi: Hello everyone,
I just check the spy picture of 2007 camry, the headlight looks like there are projectors inside.
So I was thinking if there is any chance to be HIDs.
Just want to ask if someone knows about it?
Even my GF's $16000 BASE Mazda 3 has HID as an option, why not the new 2007 camry?? right??
In my openion, the STOCK HID + projector always rules, even thought there are some debates about if HID is necessary for good illumination....
Thanks you everyone....

^^ i doubt it, if anything Avalon should had those optional, why would camry have them and not avalon??

even tho they may be projectors, that does not necessarily mean they are hid (for instance my 94 es has halogen projectors, for hid you need hid projectors)

well if nothing else having halogen projectors makes to switch to hid a lot easier to do instead of the reflective housing of a halogen lamp.

The Avalon does have HIDs... on the Touring and Limited Standard, not an option on the other trims.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with the Camry.

Actually, the new Avalons do have them and they're not optional. They're only available on two models. The Touring and the Limited. The XLS and the XL don't even offer them.

It would be a great if Toyota threw in HID as an option for the upcoming Camry.

It would be a feature that camry has yet to see, even though most of the other import sedan's these days have them as an option.
