It's marketed by some dealers as a catback but is obviously an axle-back. Still, it's all stainless, mandrel bent and reasonably priced.
I'm just looking to improve the tone with a bolt-on, but I can't find any video clips or reviews.
I was just looking at this today lol. There's a couple reviews on the G35 and Evo forums and it looks pretty good so far. One said fitment was an issue, but was fixed and that it sounded pretty good.
M2 is actually a considered a good brand on the G35 forums. I was a member there and before I got the Camry I was gonna get a G35 and had every intention of buying that exhaust. Not trying to be funny OP but you really should be the guinea pig and be the first to try it.
Yeah, that sure looks like the same setup. But does anyone else think that they sound impossibly throaty and...uh...you know...loud, to be just an axle-back bolt-in? Compared to the TRD, for example, which, from the clips I've seen, doesn't sound very impressive.
i find it laughable that one might actually think that a cell phone recording (or anything short of high fidelity recording equipment) of an exhaust system actually sounds like the real thing! my Borla exhaust doesn't sound like anything that i heard on you tube or anywhere else. oh well.
Bad news, I doesn't fit on my 2009 camry. The hangers are totally wrong, the flanges don't align up with the stock flanges. Its looks really nice but doesn't fit. I have contacted the seller and were trying to figure out if i got a miss packaged kit or something.
have pictures? are the hangers totally off or a little off? I just ordered mine an should be getting it tuesday. Hope i dont have the same problem. sorry to hear the bad news and hopefully everything gets resolved.
I'll get some pictures tomorrow. The hangers dont line up with anything, but the main issue is that the flanges arnt even close. And yes I am trying to install it correct, Im a certified toyota tech. lol Im currently in contact with the seller to work this out.
Right now I have no Mufflers on it, its got a really nice tone to it with no mufflers, kinda sounds like a 350z. Im gonna get some tail pipes made for it tomorrow and see how it sounds then.
Edit I looked in my parts catolog and the 2007-2009 (didnt look further) V6 exhaust is all the same, so even if it was made for the 2007 it will fit the rest. Also doesnt matter the trim level. So i dont know whats up. :/
