That looks like the sensor for the ambient temperature feature. Does your vehicle have that feature? I believe it clips on to a support back toward the condenser. You should be able to see a hole where that mounting lug by your thumb indexes. The connections for the fog lights are more outboard under the fenders. Regards
Since you mentioned ambient temperature.....does it refer to the thermometer that is shown next to the clock on the inside? Because it's been acting weird a little lately, reporting 107 on a 95 degree weather.
I'm still looking for it's mount point.
Look on the underside of the bumper about where the wires are. You should see a plastice buttone pressed into a hole. The sensor slips into this button and hangs down into the air stream. Expect sensor to indicate higher than ambient when the car is parked. Regards
