I have a 2008 camry w/ the 4 cyl and 5-spd. I have actually had this problem for while now, but it has gotten worse and I have no idea what it could be. It started shortly after I had my new clutch installed at a local shop. That was a big mess on its own because they broke somethign putting the tranny back in and had the car for 2 and a half weeks  but thats a different story. It happens sometimes when i turn the wheel at low speed, but its especially bad when i hit bumps, accelerate or decelerate. so basically whenever the front suspension travels. I checked ball joints, tie rods, etc and all of it looks fine. No tears in the boots or anything. A month or so ago it started getting a little louder and it sounds like its coming more towards the center of car up front rather than out near the tie rods. Could it be bushings or something? I was also thinking maybe something else went wrong from that damn transmission shop and somethign with that is loose and squeaking? I mean the car doesn't shake or drive badly at all....it just makes this awful embarassing noise. Any ideas?
