Hi Guys,
I was searching around on google and could only find one link where someone confirmed that the engine on a 2.4 ltr camry xle 2002 has a non-interference engine. Can someone else confirm so i feel at ease?
I'm just wondering, because i would like to go somewhat longer than the recommended 90k change for the timing belt. I figure since i am quite gentle on the engine (i accelerate VERY slowly) i could stand to go longer than normal. The only risk is the belt might snap and i might get stranded but there would be no damage to the engine, correct?
Thanks!
