Check out Item number: 320012808213 on eBay - these appear to be complete HID kits for the 2007 Camry. I have no experience with these but they look interesting. This auction has ended but I'm sure the seller has more. My only question is do I need two sets - one for low beams and one for hi beams or do you only install one set ?? If so which - hi or low.
please check out this link for the HID kit. i will guarateee the quality of product. right now, i have the new inventory on the newly designed ballast which is smaller, compact, use less current. i have all type of bulb in any color temp available. please come to my ebay store and check out http://stores.ebay.com/Taos-HID-lighting-store
There are lots of discussions on HID upgrades in the 'Gen 5\6 forum'.
Go over there and do a search.
ONCE AGAIN, Mr. Moderator ......another reason why we need to combine the Gen 6 and Hybrid forums together!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, for one, prefer they remain separate. I don't think the folks with conventional Gen6's want all the TCH only stuff (and there is a lot) in their forum.
I know how to search more than one forum, I am sure most others can too.
Just my 2 cents.
J
Well, actually I ran a poll recently asking members what they thought of seperate forums for each Gen. The vast majority said that they wanted seperate forums, as opposed to how it is setup now. (Unfortunately, the moderators don't care)
Think about it - the 07 Camrys are the SAME minus some cosmetic details (and the powertrain system on the Hybrid model).
Besides,,,, the small amount of threads (59) in the Hybrid forum is more reason why they can be combined with the GEN 6 threads.
Just MY two cents....

I REALLY think you underestimate the differences.
TundraSolutions just separated the TCH into a separate forum as does CamryChat.
It seems the boards I frequent keep the TCH in it's own forum which is just fine with me.

Ok...so besides the powertrain, explain to me the differences.
I am REALLY interested to know.
I think what it really comes down to is the fact that some people (such as yourself), think that hybrid owners are a "special breed".
You feel that you deserve your own forum because of this. So disappointing...
I am just saying that us 07 Camry LE, XLE, CE, and SE owners would like to share ideas with the Hybrid owners and vice-versa.
And MANY MEMBERS besides myself feel that we should not have to hop forums to collaborate. That's all.

I'm not interested in a pissing contest here. There are LOTS of topics that TCH owners can discuss that would pollute the Gen6 forum if merged.
Driving techniques, displays/instrumentation, fuel economy blah blah blah.
It's not just a drivetrain issue.

He's right. If you visit the Camry Hybrid forums elsewhere you'll see that most of the discussions are hybrid-centric, focussing on hypermileage techniques, engineering of the hybrid synergy drive, battery life, smart key operation and waiting list, pricing and similar dealer issues. There has actually been very little dialogue about the drivetrain because, thankfully, it has worked very well. You would not want to be distracted by these issues and frankly, we TCH drivers don't need to spend a lot of time reading the Gen6 posts about tranny problems, (though we do sympathize and believe that Toyota needs to make things right).
