After weeks of trying to get a 'loaded' TCH for delivery prior to the 9/30 deadline for $2,600 IRS credit -- I gave up -- and then lucked out! While viewing 'Fitzmall.com' I came across a loaded TCH AT $699.00 DISCOUNT -- Called and asked whether a misprint on web-site -- Nope-- car deal fell thru 30 mins prior -- and I was lucky enough to be the 1st caller. I pick it up Monday -- Oh ya I have to fly to MD -- (120.00) -- but, boys & girls .... NO doc fees except for $19.00 temp tags to drive it back to flo-ree-da. WHole deal took 5 min.
Loaded: SR,NV,CQ,LA for $29,920 + 19 out the door. No doc fees. And I didn't have to wait in line for 3 mos and miss the IRS deadline.
These boys at Fitzmall (ask for Hank) know how to deal. A whole lot better than the local crooks who charge 599.00 for 'doc' fees and tell you -- 'have patience' or they just can't get a loaded TCH in less than 3 mos.
Hmmmmmmmm! I think the tax credit is down to $1300 now. Toyota went over 60,000 hybrids in May or June.
Actually you are wrong and right. The full $2600 credit is still good for cars put in service before Sept 30, '06.
Toyota reported 60K in April (or was it May?) but the IRS rules state the rebate is good "Through the end of the quarter following the quarter the 60k was announced". So 60k was announced in the second quarter and the full rebate is good through the 3rd quarter.
Hope this helps.

Managed to find one that will be delivered in a couple of weeks so I'll be able to get the full tax credit.

Do your homework, folks.
Hey guys, I am brand new to the forum. I've seen fitzgerald mall dealerships mentioned both here and on edmund's forums. I am now seriously considering to get a Camry Hybrid from them(and I don't want to wait 3 months), but in their inventory list, I can't find any hybrid camrys. Is it that short on supply?

It depends a lot on where you are located. Some areas have them some don't.

Capitol Toyota in San Jose, CA, has one in Barcelona Red (as of the time of this post). www.capitoltoyota.com
Fremont Toyota in Fremont, CA, appears to have 4 of them in stock (as of the time of this post). www.fremonttoyota.com
These dealers seem to get a lot of them, since Hybrids are very popular in CA right now with the gas prices out here. But they get sold within days, if not hours. If you don't want to deal with these dealers directly, then go to your local dealer with this information, and tell them to make a dealer trade to get this car for you. You are paying MSRP no matter what, and even if your dealer charges you a slight markup for making this trade, you would have had to pay for shipping from CA anyway.
