rs 3200 security system

I'm ordering a new tch, and need input into the VIp RS 3200 security alarm system.
need opinion as to whether or not I need this on the camry hybrid.

Depends what you're looking for. The Camry Hybrid already comes standard with an engine immobiliser. The RS system just adds an alarm but it is a prerequsite to the GBS (Glass Breakage Sensor) if you wish to install one (as an accessory).

The other option is to use a 3rd party alarm system with pager.

You don't need it to prevent someone from driving off with your car. As mentioned, the TCH has a built-in starter lock. So the only thing the RS3200+ gets you are some window and vibration sensors. It would only be worthwhile as a deterrent from someone breaking into your windows since you will get a flashing LED on the dash.

I have the RS3200+ on my TCH only because I didn't custom-order the car, and there was no other TCH available to me.
