Gen6 Nav disc 7.1

I was in a 08 Sienna LTD and turned on the car and you don't have push the "I agree" button anymore. I will try the disc in my Camry in the morning.

I certainly hope so. The maps for some places in Alberta are atrociously inaccurate and out of date.

Yes even on 6.1.

On a recent trip from Banff to Jasper along the the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) numerous times (far too many to count) we were driving in the forest according to the nav system. Again on the return through Rocky Mountain House to Calgary, Highway 22 according to the nav was a mile to the east of where we where actually driving. Bends in the road did not show on the nav or the road was straight yet the nav showed bends. Very disappointing.

Also none the three hotels we stayed at were in the database so navigating to them was impossible. If I used the street addresses the system kept telling me the address did not exist. Finally used Google maps to get the lat and long for each hotel and used that. All three hotels very definitely not new probably at least five to ten years old or older.

Also as you approach Banff from the east on the Trans Canada the nav shows an interchange that does not and never has existed.

I'm not sure where Denso gets its maps but I for one am not impressed.

wow.. they're using Navteq so if they have the latest one, it should be the same as Google Maps (unless they have their own "reduced" version to fit on a disc).

I put the 7.1 disc in my nav and then I pulled it out and put my old disc (5.1) back in and now I don't have push the " I agree" anymore.
