Purchased my pre-ordered 2009 Camry Hybrid today (3 miles)from Gatorland Toyota- Fun experience. Blue Ribbon Metallic over Bisque Leather. Packages UT,LA,SR and CQ with PV50 and RX60. New to ToyotaNation but not the Forum Environment. I will spend most of my time thread posting in the TCH section. From my lurking prior to delivery -looks like they are some quality posters here (I was fully prepared to drive the car and deal with the closer) , so I'll try to contribute...

I just picked up my 09 TCH from the dealer on Saturday. Black and still stock.Tinting the windows comes first, then a little bling (just a little). Drove it all weekend and the fuel gauge barely moved. I'm liking this hybrid thing.

Congratulations and enjoy. What brand Tires came on your '09 ? Mine came with Michelin Energy's. Any differences in a TCH above the Border ? Welcome fellow newbie...

Same on the 09, Michelin Energy. In Canada, there are only 2 factory options, fully loaded with leather heated seats and navigation and the base model which is everything but those 2 things. It was almost $4000 more for the leather and nav, so I decided to live without, that much money can be better spent elsewhere.
I understand the $$ for the NAV came be limiting factor. I went with it ,not for the NAV as much (even though the voice cmds may turnout to be kinda fun) but the the additional screens that show the EV/ICE charging picture and Consumption bar graphs - like the Prius has.
With or without the optional packages , my research showed the 08/09 TCH was the best car for the needs I had...

Yeah, I only found out about the onboard computer in the nav system after i ordered mine. I figure I'll just wait until used ones start to show up on ebay for cheap as people upgrade to something else.
