i have an 08 with same issue. Can't really tell where it is coming from. Sounds like plastic on plastic to me. Very dissapointing for a brand new car. Started after about 1000 miles.

how long have you had your car
does it appear at certain speeds or temps or is it constant

have you had anyone open up your dash for any after market work--like installing an XM radio or backup-camera?

have you been to the dealership

I have the same sound. Tracked it down to the coin holder, but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. If I twist or hold the coin holder it will go away (until I let go of course). And yes, it's annoying.

So, no one gets their cars rattles fixed at the dealer?

I am pretty sure it is not covered under the warrant. and who wants the dealer to take out the dash on a brand new car. This is only asking for more rattles.

Bonkers.....

You can rest assured that your dash rattle IS covered under warranty.

the thing is it is not really a rattle. It sounds like plastic on plastic. like maybe the heater vent on the dash. or the clock area on the dash. Its hard to say where it is coming from. You say they will fix this if I take it in?

I would love to have this fixed.

The dealer should not have a problem fixing the rattle (assuming they can figure out what is wrong). There were several TSB's on the 07's for similar issues.

I don't if this will help, I noticed there were rattles in the car while i was driving. But after careful observations, it was just the seatbelt hitting the side of the car (on the passenger's side).

I have a similar issue on my '07.

The sounds seemds to come from behind the Navi \ center vent stack area. It is intermittent, but the colder it is outside it is more pronounced.

Can the person who referenced the TSBs please post a link to it or provide the TSB number?

Thanks!
