2009 Camry Hybrid Platinum Service Agreement

I want to cancel my dealer issued service agreement since I have apparently paid way in excess for it.

Can anyone please list the current best price for the 2009 Camry Hybrid Platinum Vehicle Service agreement for 72 months / 100,000 miles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to sites or numbers to call!!

Thanks everyone.

You can purchase them for half at other dealers I have found out. I just canceled mine and another dealer has the same thing for half price. Royal rip off at the dealer.

The dealer has to handle this for you. If it has been more then 30 days then it is pro-rated. In addition, if you financed, the amount has to be sent to the bank. It can take a month or two for the dealer to get the refund.

The refund is sent to the dealer in either case. If a cash deal, then they pay you directly. And if financed, they have a legal obliagtion to apply it towards the loan. This keeps people from abusing the system when financing.

I just called TFS direct to cancel at 1-800-228-8559 I purchased my 09 Camry Hybrid less then 2 weeks ago when I found out how I was ripped off by the dealer on this warranty. Even with the cancellation fee I will save $740.

Service Agreement

I canceled my service agreement I made with the dealer directly through Toyota Financial. I called another dealer and got the Platinum service agreement 72/100,000 no deductible for $799 which is half what my selling dealer wanted.

Was it just another dealer in the area or did you call one of the dealerships mentioned in one of the other threads? If so, which one? I just bought my hybrid on Friday and paid $1,600 for the same thing. I think some savings are in order.

I just called Jerry Johnson at:

MIDWEST TOYOTA

HUTCHINSON KS

620-662-6631

You have 30 days to call Toyota Financial Services and cancel the policy you have. You can purchase the policy at ANY Toyota dealer and it will be honored at any dealer. I saved half the price. The dealer was a rip off.
Good Luck, Save that money!
