Fog lights

I love the look of fog lights on the new Camry but of course, my '08 hybrid didn't come with them. So that brought 3 questions:
1. How do you remove the cover where the fog lights go?
2. What size fog lights will fit that space?
3. Can aftermarket fog lights be wired into the parking/head lights?

Thanks,
Frank

Foglights =(

I asked my dealer about foglights.. they said that foglights are not available for the camry hybrids. =(

I don't think that's really true though.. ( I think they are just scared of liability or what not.. may void warranty )

Anybody else hear about this?

They sell many kits on eBay for around $70-$80 shipped, thats what I as well as several other members have done. All you need to do is remove the bumper cover and splash shield to gain access to it.

If you want some help, read some of my DIY threads.

There is a Toyota Original Kit that I bought the day I bought my TCH at the dealership and they installed it when they prep the car, only thing was that the kit was wrongly connected but it was nothing that I couldn't fixed myself, they connected the Fog lights directly to ACC power and they were always on unless you power off them by the switch, that by the way, was installed on the left side of the panel at the right to the gas lid opener, the ECO switch was hidden behind the change compartment, remember there are only two spots, I reconnected the signal cable to the low beams, now they power up only when the lights are turned on. In order to remove the blanks cover you need to remove the cover bellow the front bumper, from there you just push them out, the lights then will be attached by slide them in and one screw, they nned to be adjusted and the adjusting screw is bellow the light, it is do it with a philips screwdriver.
The switch is used to cancel the fog lights.

Hope this helps you.
